Pie and a pint! It’s been a while.

Early start for work (trying to get my head around a 500 page contract super-fast) then packing, work, rescuing MrB from car failure number 1 (yes it’s that kind of day) (soft tyre that would not fill).

Then underway to the “security is rubbish so you have to be 3 hours early” Carcassonne airport. And turning back after 10 mins when Mr B confirmed that that funny noise he heard when we went over a speed bump was the heat shield dislodging.

So home to be grateful for the third car…

Flight was fine (well it was bumpy, but after that Singapore flight that was in the news it seems churlish to complain) and turns out a very rained on PM announced a General Election while we were in the air. Bartlett he ain’t. The election timing will, in an odd way, impinge on my work. Also need to check if I signed up for postal voting!

Train to York, pub, then off to TallGirl’s to wait for her DND to finish. Great to see her.
