For the family

By RonaMac

A very busy farmer

The farmer has been working on the field outside the house for the past 4 days, very long hours. Having seen the weather forecast for tomorrow, he will be pleased to have got the job finished. The sheep in the top field have been rounded up and moved somewhere else. We have moved the outdoor tomato plants into the potting shed for protection.

It has been a quiet day. When sorting out the paperwork from yesterday I saw that the sedation given was Midazolam and Fentanyl, which stays in the system for 24 hrs. That’s why I had to be accompanied home yesterday and have a responsible adult with me today.

I slept off and on until about 3.30 when I had a shower, dressed and we took Amber for her afternoon walk. The fresh air perked me up. When not sleeping I started another crochet animal.

I had a super surprise this evening. I had replied to an email to old friends from work planning a meet up. My phone flagged up a video call from one of the group and 3 of us answered. It turned out to be M who is in Seattle on holiday, is in her 80’s and the least techie person I know. We have never done this before and it was so spontaneous!!!
