Castillo

di Rocca Cilento. What an amazing place! This castle has been beautifully restored and renovated by an Italian family. So pleased we decided to treat ourselves to this experience. They have wedding bookings the rest of the week but for the 2 days we have been here, we are the only guests. 6 rooms... soon to be 15 on top of the world with 360°views.
Unseasonally chilly and low cloud today (we are at 600m)... but a lovely walk through villages where time stood still probably a century ago and stunning views to the coast. A chilly swim... a lazy afternoon and a lovely relaxed dinner with local products. Menu all in Italian so takes some working out, but staff speak a little French and English.
R apparently wants to get married here.....to me ?Interesting as we will have been married 39 yrs in June:))) Seriously a wonderful wedding venue!
