Joustin’ Time

When we picked Sophie up from school this afternoon, she decided to set up a “show jumping” course in the back garden and treat us to an imaginary display of jumping, then dressage and finally jousting, which required Grandma to take the role of the Vicious Knight while Sophie played the Good Knight.

Here she is in action, with a fly swatted doubling as lance! It’s lovely that she still enjoys these imaginary games.

Earlier, Henri and I were joined by George (whose regular partner Roger is on holiday) for this morning’s very sociable - and hot - golf round.
