Tiny Tuesday - Redclaw Buds

What a day! I was up quite early to move everything away from the windows in readiness for having them all removed and replaced. The chaps turned up at 8am and put their dust sheets down in preparation. While I sorted and threw out unwanted old paperwork, and researched removal firms and window blind companies, the heavy (and noisy) work progressed. Unfortunately it started raining quite hard earlier than expected, and one of the poor fitters had to finish off the outsides with his waterproof mac on and hood up. By 1.30pm it was all done and the worn out wooden windows and old net curtains and poles were cleared away into the van for disposal. I’ve spent quite a bit of time since then cleaning, vacuuming and putting back furniture, but have still not finished yet. I’m also doing three loads of laundry and tumble drying. Just stopping for my tea and a rest at the moment, but I know I won’t want to go to bed with stuff still to put back in place so it will end up being a very long day indeed.

Here are some tiny Redclaw buds being rained upon in the garden. I thought I’d show you my fully-laden yellow rose next to the front door - photos in extras. Many thanks once again to Incredibish for hosting May’s Tiny Tuesdays.
