Wildflower meadow

Another gorgeous day, spent pottering at home. Himself did a bit of strimming, I weeded the polytunnel, we lounged down by the pond and I went off to saunter in the wildflower meadow nearby which has just burst into life. Soon it will be cut for silage but at the moment it looks wonderful - ox eye daisies, buttercups, clover, plantain and grasses.  A long view and a close view double exposed.
I have to shoot off now to listen to a talk via zoom about sile na gigs and then we shall be watching another episode of Kin - dark and riveting. For some reason though RTE showed the second series first - duh.
