Not me!

My health club, the Lensbury, has just opened a new club room for members only. Previously members and those staying at the ‘hotel’ all used the same dining room and restaurant area for snacks/ coffee as well as meals. The management seem to think this will be better to have a separate members only room….I think they are trying to attract new members as we keep getting flyers through the door! This is one of the large original artworks which have been specially commissioned and no doubt bought at huge expense. I really don’t think this is appropriate for the club as I have yet to see many members who look like the divers/ gymnasts in this painting! There is no diving board at the pool and no one does gymnastics! Maybe I just don’t  get it…or the artist did no research re the club and the management thought it was appropriate??

A group of us went there today after Pilates and had to wait ages as only one ‘barista’! 

Later I went to three local places selling plants and bought some trailing geraniums for the balcony and a few others too.

We collected the grandchildren from school and they entertained themselves in the garden, mainly on the big trampoline for about an hour so I could just sit and watch!

Another warm day so lots of watering needed on the garden.
