Cotton grass

Another lovely evening walk this time up into Shuttlingsloe listening to many birds including skylarks and curlew. I was hoping to hear the cuckoo but not today sadly.
This cotton grass (Eriophorum angustifolium) was bobbing in the rather nippy wind!
