Box 5

We went to our respective woodlands to check the nest boxes. It’s been 2 and a half weeks since we were last there and in the meantime, the trees have really greened up and the bracken and grasses have grown, making it much harder to see the boxes, but as far as I could tell, there were no Pied Flycatchers in them - just Great and Blue Tits.
The bluebells are starting to go over now and soon we’ll be in the season of foxgloves.
