What’s it like to garden in Mexico?
Well we heard first hand today from two Mexican students at Stirling university, who were among today’s visitors .
Basically, everything grows non- stop n Mexico. I am green with envy.
Well, it’s been another successful day. It was good to see lots of old friends turning up as well as many new visitors making their first visit to the garden. Among them (see extra) our local MSP Alexander Stewart, that 'well kent' local figure 88 year old Roy Baker, a dog loving couple with a with a puppy in a sling and old friends.
As for the newts in the pond , they were the usual hit with children who love to handle them after M first fishes these tiny wriggling amphibians out of the pond.
PS The children get to drop the newts back into the pond.
