Sunshine

Beautiful blue sky day, 21 degrees and breezy. This busy bee was enjoying both the Pyracantha blossom and the sunshine. Perfect weather in the garden for drying six loads of laundry, experimenting with growing potatoes in an old shopping bag, and laboriously washing scale bugs off a large houseplant.

Singapore today offered to cover for the first week of July. With a big birthday coming up this year (21, again!), I’d hoped to fulfil a dream of travelling to Svalbard in search of Polar Bears but at such short notice that’s not going to be possible. Am sadly lacking any other travel inspiration...
