Volunteer Celebration Event

To celebrate 10 years of the opening of the new Southmead Hospital building. In the opening speeches the current chair of the trust said there are currently 470 volunteers and last year we contributed 40,000 hours to the running of the hospital.

It was a good event, and the waiting staff that seemed "rubbish" were in fact secret entertainers.. Had us waving napkins and doing the conga!

Popped in to see Jo who had been rearranging furniture, and 'stole' Beau as he was hot and came with me to cool down under the big ceiling fan. He was collected later, but walked back in, had to be retrieved to go home.
