TOTK; Tomb Two

A beautiful sunny day, really warm again, a breeze at times.  A lovely warm evening.

Up early, headed to the pool after breakfast.  A walk before lunch, then back to the pool for the afternoon.  A couple of teatime pints, then dinner in the hotel.  Think it'll be a quiet night in the room.

Right across the road from my hotel is a massive archeology site, Tombs of the Kings, a large necropolis.  The site dates back to Hellenistic and Roman times.  The site is made of of various tombs carved into the rock, mostly underground, some above, some in great condition and others eroded by weather.  The site sounds like it could have had royalty buried here, but was more than likely only rich elites.  I chose the wrong footwear, so my visit was cut short, but I'll be back, I've only seen about a third.  This is tomb two, my favourite of what I've seen so far.  Sadly robbed like the rest but still great to see inside.  Taken at the Tombs of the Kings, Paphos, Cyprus.
