tracks of life

telaga waja river

near mount agung in bali. i was a little too nervous to take too many photos while on the river, so instead i leave you with this stunning view after we stopped for lunch. the river sits in the valley below, and may be somewhat difficult to see.

what a fun trip this was, even for being in the dry season. it's a relatively narrow river, at about class iii this time of year, and increasing of course in the dry season. perhaps the most fun is the near vertical 3m (10 ft) drop at the dam.

and with this ends my side journey to bali - a good visit overall. back to kuta beach for the night, just to be close to the airport, and then back to bangkok for a few more days before heading home.
