Riverbank

Andy Murray's fault !

Just realised while driving home from the Lakes that I forgot to post my Blipfoto yesterday evening.

It was a great day and I managed to take some good shots while walking around Great Langdale but I did miss one shot that would have been even better than this river bank effort.

We stopped to watch a Redstart flying across a field next to Langdale Beck on tree lined section near Elterwater village. It was too far away for a good shot but after taking a couple of steps round the next corner there was an adult Otter ( this at 7 pm in sunshine) all we saw was the body and tail disappear but then a splash - then a face peeped over the wall - obviously a young Otter. A squeak from Mum and it disappeared !!!

So no Otter but I hope you like this view of the river bank on a lovely evening..
