Carbs

Another day and another foodporn Blip. 

It was not what I had planned. Much like the rest of my day...

The plan had been to spend the later part of the afternoon in Edinburgh and then head out to my friend's house in the leafy suburbs to keep him company while his wife was out childminding. 

Fish suppers, rugby on TV, maybe a wee beer... Typical old blokes-on-Friday-night stuff. Still Game turned into reality...

Well, he had a shingles vaccination yesterday and has had side effects, so he called off. He was not even able to arrange for the fish suppers to come to my house instead of his. 

I should show more empathy because I know how it feels. 

The result was me putting together my basic linguine dish for dinner. And it got Blipped.
