Fleetwith Pike

A short morning walk from Honister to Fleetwith Pike. On the way back down the pass I'd waited at the top as I could see the bus coming up, it seemed to be taking a long time so I set off, I then came across it broken down with a lot of steam coming out of the back of it. There's no phone signal up there so I did wonder what the drivers rescue plan was. It is steep going up there, even my car was in 1st gear going up and not sounding like it was enjoying it. The views up there however were worth it on my walk. When I did get phone signal again my network said welcome to the UK, we hope we enjoyed your trip, which it's never done before as plenty of places on my walks don't have phone signal so I did find it amusing.
