The sun was shining this morning so we headed out to St Just and Botallack to walk the coast path to Cape Cornwall and back.  

The car park at Botallack was charging £3+ for two hours or £6 for all day.  As we were about to put £6 cash into the machine a lady handed us her all day ticket as they were just leaving.  A lovely gesture.

After coffee we set off to walk to the monument of Cape Cornwall.  It was quiet on the footpath and we enjoyed the peace, although it was worrying to note the lack of birdlife, bees and butterflies.

We met a few Europeans on the walk, mainly Germans, who make the trip to Cornwall an annual event.  I don’t think we’ll bother with a walk around the block tonight.
