Got to see my friend today

The coworker who has been making snide comments about my wearing a mask said nothing today. 

Someone else at work said I was smart, which, after the snide comments, I appreciated. 

One of the senior management wore a mask himself today. 

The party he threw tonight for all of us was outside in his yard and on his deck. 

My boss and my friend are both breathing ok. 

A friend came from Cape Town to see me. I brought her to the party where she and the manager’s wife hit it off famously. After the party we had tea and desert and talked and I showed her pictures. The waiter loved my pictures so imagine me grinning. 

One more day of work here.
