Prank

Story I was told:
Once upon a time the USAID building in Pretoria did not have a fence. A thief stole the car of the head of security. He owned the most stolen make and model in South Africa. Naturally, a fence was installed, but his employees put up this sign. He must have had a good sense of humor because eons later the sign is still up.

Ok. Monday we knew my boss has Covid and wasn’t coming in.
Tuesday we knew my friend has Covid and wasn’t coming in. 
Yesterday a third person had Covid and wasn’t in.
Today two people left mid-day. 

Other people are sick but they don’t know that, with one of the recent variants, you can have symptoms for up to four days before you test positive, so I am not assured they “just” have the flu. 

Some of the people at this meeting are supposed to go to a big conference and networking shindig next week. I hope they are able to.
