Happy One Hundredth!

Today would have been my Uncle Edmund’s 100th birthday. I guess this picture of him with my grandparents was probably taken sometime in the early 1940s. After National Service and studying at Manchester University he emigrated to the USA, where he became a well respected psychology professor. We didn’t see that much of him, but he used to send us the most fantastic and unusual Christmas presents when we were young.
(Obviously I didn’t take this photo, but I did spend some time today scanning and cleaning it up a bit!)
