Memorial

I came across this memorial to several female members of the Back family in St Remigius Churchyard in Hethersett. I call it a memorial, because I think it’s possibly too small to be considered a mausoleum, and too elaborate to be called a gravestone!

Jane Back: died 1855 aged 81
Mary Back: died 1858 aged 71
Annie Back: died 1849 aged 23 (wife of Henry Back)
Fanny Back: died 1923 aged 92 (widow of Henry Back)

No mention of Henry Back, who apparently died in 1878. The family had occupied nearby Hethersett Hall.
