The other allotments

There are two allotment sites in Saltburn. One I walk passed frequently with the dogs. The other one you pass on the main road in and out of the town, but you’d never realise unless walking on foot down Zetland Terrace.

The road level is significantly higher than the lowest allotment. The extra shows the terrace arrangement of them, but I can’t even guess what the measurement is from road level to the bottom of the valley…..

Anyway, it’s one of the ways we walk to the vets. Both dogs came along today as part of the route of their morning walk and we came back home down Zetland Terrace for a change where I got a blip of this shed for Derelict Sunday. I’m probably doing the shed owner an injustice, it’s maybe an Aladdin’s cave inside full of gardening tools!

After a bit of rain this morning, we managed to get the patio block paving sealed nicely this afternoon, then assembled the new coffee table and put the parasol base and parasol in situ once it was all dry. All of which undoubtedly means no warm sunshine to sit out in now for a while!!
