Before and After

My usual girl is fully booked till July so I tried out a new (to me) pedicure place today. It’s within The Spa Hotel which over looks Saltburn Bank, a very steep road down to the beach, which then climbs again out the other direction. It’s good for a blip, usually.

We had heavy mist all morning and when I went into the hotel at half two this afternoon you couldn’t see the sea. But by the time I came out about an hour and a half later, voila, it had cleared.

Callum went to Pilates this morning on the reformer machine. He’s finding it very good to strengthen around his knees. I’m advised against at the moment until after my next eye treatment, so I just faffed around at home and walked the dogs in the drizzly mist. That was fun.
