New footwear.

It is much cooler today, only 19.5c and it was drizzly earlier when I went out to buy the paper and The People's Friend.

These new trainers in the photo arrived yesterday . They were described as having orthopaedic sole support and although the pink is very much brighter than in the

advert, they are very light and comfortable, but not for rainy weather. As I get older, my high in steps ache and my left heel does too. I have sent off for some sturdy orthotics to fit in my shoes, just to make life as pain free as possible.

The cats are both sleeping, but this morning they were still being confrontational, mostly with Holly doing a low growl if Hunter came too near her. I think she is gradually forgiving him for disappearing and coming home 5 hours later.

We received our order for an electric hedge trimmer and a lawn strimmer. Paul was delighted with them, like new boy toys. He still can't lift heavy things, so it will be two weeks until they can be used. The hedge is not too over grown as yet.
