Historic Wooden Lighthouse

At the Kaipara Head near Pouto.
We had a tour down the beach to the lighthouse with access into the lighthouse. It’s no longer operational as large boats/ships no longer enter the harbour.
We interrupted a NZ Fur Seal sunning itself on the beach when we went for a walk to a swimming beach North of Pouto at low tide. There was nobody on the beach.
