Some Grandson Time

A couple of hours of babysitting while Mom and Dad went to buy a new Chevy truck.

I wanted to watch Wimbledon (tennis), and the Tour de France (cycling.) Merrick wanted to watch Curious George, and Sesame Street. Today's episode of Sesame Street was brought to you by the letter....OH NO YOU DON'T BUSTER!...THIS TIME GRANDPA IS LAYING DOWN HIS FOOT FAULT!!!

The little man didn't seem to care...as long as it wasn't the grunting female tennis players.

We then spent quite a while outside, with Merrick driving his many vehicles. He drives that little tractor so fast that it scares me. Always in 2nd gear...1st gear is for babies. Plus...he audibly beep...beep...beeps...when he backs up.

A late night at the fireworks. The bang-bang show lasted about 37 minutes. We were in our car at 10:42. 57 minutes later, we were home, and we live less than 3 miles away!!! Tens of thousands of people trying to get out.

I put about a dozen fireworks shot on my FLICKR PAGE...along with a few leftovers from the parade.
