A foray into the cool store shipping container today in search of a pot of chutney to accompany this week's cheese (a Farmhouse Cheddar Blue) revealed a shelf of jars I filled in 2018.
It was my first summer here Chez Mima and I am amazed that I grew enough veg to make chutney with the excess. I'm not quite sure what 'summer' means in relation to this chut. I shall investigate when I open the jar tomorrow lunchtime.
It is seven years today that I got the keys to my dream property. There's not an itch in sight.
