Cool spot
It was a very hot day! We spent time in the garden planting out a new Clematis, Ninon, which took longer than it should have done because we came across a large root and a lot of chalk in our preferred planting position, which meant erecting another piece of mesh support against the fence, and then digging another hole in the energy -sapping heat! At last it is done, although the Clematis looks a bit sorry for itself! I'm hoping the rain forecast for tomorrow will perk it up.
Photo is of the coolest spot in the garden where the Marsh Marigold is doing well.
