Protection

Our outdoor tomato container was in a sheltered area in the old garden, but in this one there is no real shelter and it’s quite windy. Last Monday when we were in Stafford we found a store that’s new to us, Home Bargains. I wasn’t looking for this item, but it was so inexpensive and good value that I bought it, along with several other gardening items. 

These are standard tomato plants, I’ve potted up three cherry tomato ones in a grow bag in the potting shed. It will be interesting to see how they progress. 

The morning was spent in the garden, before heading for the U3A craft group this afternoon.
