Technology has a place

Cat feeding duties started the day, followed by gardening ……endless!!! 

I stopped to have a coffee and could see two big jets flying south against a clear blue sky. I checked Plane Finder on my phone to see where they were heading. 

I then heard what I thought was a Spitfire, I didn’t expect to be right, but was. It came into sight flying south, then turned and came north again over the top of us. It was good to see where it had come from and was going. Our own personal display.

This evening R called round with a bottle of NZ Sauvignon Blanc for a chat, great to catch up on the news. 

After a very warm day we had a thunderstorm this evening, hope it cools things down for tonight.
