NGS

After a morning planting yesterday's plant purchases we wandered down to T&P for a trip to a garden open under the NGS scheme.  P drove and we found the place thanks to the yellow signs and sat nav, would have been impossible without.  We paid our £5.00 and wandered around and were not hugely impressed - rating it a £2.50 garden at best - however it all goes to charity so we took the view 'some you win'.  We had the obligatory cup of tea and cake then P drove back and we had a glass of wine and wandered around their garden which is more impressive than the one we paid for!  Back home for the last of the sun and OH cooked easy bbq (decided we are going to try to eat less potatoes so cous cous was the accompaniment).
The picture is of a very nice tree in the centre of the NGS garden, although we all agree they should have cut the lawn.
