Visiting ringers

Not all the visiting ringers attended this morning. They had all gone out for a meal the previous evening and enjoyed themselves heartily at the local curry house. The wine was included with the meal and was unlimited. I think some of them took good advantage! Nevertheless, we had enough to ring all ten bells for the service and had an extra practice afterwards. I played some tennis in the afternoon. The forecasted showers duly arrived and we had a rain delay. We eventually had to abandon when the heavens opened having just squandered two match points and within minutes the court had puddles on it. I returned home and had a good chat on the phone with my son and we exchanged all our recent news.
