Cambuskenneth
Lorne’s parents and collie dog arrived late yesterday and today we are having a very jolly time without our respective offspring.
I returned to Stirling and visited the Smith Art Gallery and museum which was empty, not surprisingly on such a beautiful day. An interesting collection including, supposedly, the oldest football in the world, played with, allegedly, by an infant Mary Queen of Scots.
The blip is what’s left of the Abbey at Cambuskenneth Abbey, burial place of James 111 and Margaret of Denmark.
Susan’s pizza is just about ready which we are having outside accompanied by a rather nice Pino Grigio.
Later, dog walking at dusk, extra.
