Mr. Handsome in the Dandelion Clocks

He was just behind the house, saving my “Blip bacon”. I was very glad to see this young buck and his two girlfriends.

My frustrating day if you are interested …. 

I had had a very early morning, walking up a steep ridge having been told by a birder that the black grouse had flown away. Well of course they would, he had walked through their lek zone! 

This afternoon I decided to use the Karcher to clean around the house which is a big job. I was within 30 mins of finishing the job when the Karcher stopped working. I wonder if it overheated, I certainly did! Another frustration. 

This evening, when I was about to go to the badger set which means leaving home around 6pm to be in position and wait. Well I couldn’t get the charger out of the car, I switched everything off, then on, nothing! I looked on the internet and tried various methods. I was on my hands and knees in front of the car when a click happened and the plug released … I don’t know why but I was too late to go up the hill. 

A few days ago I left my trail camera near some holes that I had spotted so decided to retrieve it. It showed precisely nothing when I played it back. 

I just discovered that Switzerland had an Aurora last night and I missed it. I have never seen one! 

For the flower people I have put the first gentians in extra. That was a nice surprise this morning.
