Djami Kebir
A lovely sunny day, with clouds passing over. There was a quick shower this morning, thankfully didn't last. Breezy all day.
Up early, headed down for breakfast. A morning at the pool. Headed out for a walk in the afternoon, back to the pool after. Might head out into town for pints tonight.
A fine walk into the old town this afternoon, but must do some research for the next trip in, so I know what to look for. Sadly there was a mix of feeling in the town, some lovely old buildings, some new, some places thriving and others looking very abandoned and derelict. I'm assuming covid had a lot to do with the shut down of businesses. I stumbled across various lovely old buildings, like this old church, now converted into a mosque. Built in the 15th century as Ayia Sofia, in Byzantine times. Djami Kebir, Old Paphos Town, Cyprus.
