The road gets longer
We’ve had a busy day and loads of opportunities for blips, but it wasn’t until we got home that I realised that I hadn’t taken a single picture. I even missed the chance to take a picture of a big digger thing that was parked straddling the bank outside as we got home. The last two houses in the road are being completed, so the landscaping is being done.
We went to Burton hospital for my blood tests, which took all of 5 minutes as she got in first time and filled the containers. My veins are not always this compliant.
We came home a different route so as to visit Byrkley Park Garden Centre, it in the middle of nowhere and was only found when I was looking for the nearest Cotton Traders store. It is an amazing size of site with a wide range of super little businesses. We ordered two pair of jeans for B, also bought him a shirt and a pair of trousers and two blouses for me. As well as a few other things. After almost a year we are beginning to find out where to source things.
Home for a sleep as I was exhausted, then out into the beautiful sunshine to tackle the garden. It was too hot for Amber’s afternoon walk and so it was delayed until after 7pm.
