A nice shiny floor

My first visit to the new quilting group, which I found by  chance when voting recently. 

I was made most welcome by the ladies and provided with lots of local information about quilting and sewing groups. I’d just taken my knitting as I wasn’t sure what the set up was, but it was good to see all the big tables, sewing machines and quilting materials.  Super blip opportunities, but I didn’t feel that I could take pictures of strangers without an explanation. 

The meetings are monthly and next month they also have a full day sewing with a guest speaker, and dinner out in the evening.

This afternoon I spent two hours talking to A on FaceTime. We had a good catch up and I even got a chance to speak to M & A when they came home from school.
