High Dam

Todays post swim, post breakfast walk was up to and around  High Dam. Two old dams built  to run the wheel for the bobbin mill at the bottom of the hill.  There was an extraordinary amount of water in the old mill stream. We met a LDNP Ranger who told us they had opened the dam a bit to get rid  to some of the silt. Interesting
