snug as a bug...

...in a rug.
We had a later than usual start to our morning due to the cloud cover that kept the sun from shining into our bedroom and waking the dog at sunrise. Ah, it was wonderful to have that extra bit of sleep!
And apparently all sorts of animals were lulled into a longer than usual snooze.
I nearly missed seeing this glimpse of red on the all green plant, and then I had to squat down to get this cozy shot on a cloudy day.
