While the Sun Shines

22.0C with some cloud but mostly sunny and breezy.

Lots of watering of pots and containers this morning. Small harvest of DFB and a courgette. Planted out my Leeks. I like to sow the seeds in modules and plant them out when they are good strong little plants.

Maeve the Deerhound and I went for our walk mid morning before it got too hot. That usually works well for Maeve when it gets warm/hot. We get back home without her becoming distressed at all.

In the very small fields either side of the main East coast railway line the long meadow grasses have been cut for hay. The tractor was in the field next to the shore turning the hay as we crossed at the level crossing and walked through the field to the beach. I took the shot from the edge of the field where the grasses give way to the back of the dunes.

We watched the fishermen go out to sea in 'Shamara II' today. They were just setting off as we wandered along the beach.
