Another two peak day

We were planning to drive up the hill, park up and walk a stretch of the Cleveland Way. Looking at my OS maps app I plotted a walk from site to the first peak, then across to the second and back to site. It was a great walk, except for the mud. We walked through two farm yards and a field of horses, at one point I had to carry Hetty as she didn’t like the mud.
So warm, and not many people on the hills today.
The farmer told us about a cafe but didn’t know if it was any good, we tried it and it was very good, just off the path. We sat in the sun and had coffee on the terrace.
Back at site for three and as I had not had the promised call from the Jeep repair people I phoned them. The part arrived today and they will complete tomorrow. He said he would call when it is done, I won’t hold my breath. We decided that we will go home Friday and visit the coast tomorrow.
Lots of bird life today, but no owl. The birds at the cafe were very entertaining as they were landing on the tables and helping themselves to food.
