Fog

We went over to Wasdale which is quite a long way from Keswick, about forty miles because there are Fells in the way. It became cloudy and indeed foggy towards the coast. Apparently it was a lovely day in Keswick. Ah well….
Wastwater is one of my favourite lakes because it’s so wild and miles from anywhere. It looked pretty bleak today but it was good to go there.
Came back over Hardknott and Wrynose passes, where there are lots of signs up about the “ Fred Whitton challenge” which involves cycling over all the main Lake District passes. Mad! Our son and son in law have done it. It’s a serious challenge.
