Les Calanques

We're getting ready to leave Bandol, but I wanted to go back to the coastal walk of Les Calanques to re-take the view that I took the other day. So we set off with Louis early this morning before it got too hot and we walked 7kms instead of the 12kms the other day. Louis thorough enjoyed it and was a like a mountain goat climbing up all the steep rocks. So this is the view from the top, I love the different colours of the sea - no wonder it's called the Cote D'Azur!

Anyway, we're now packing the final things and are going to have a quick lunch before we leave. We're stopping at Le Castellet en-route to buy the long awaited throw for the bed. Fingers crossed she's back from holiday and the shop's open!

Then we've got about a 3 hour drive to the Ardeche where we've booked 3 nights in a hotel. I'm really looking forward to exploring that region as we've never been before, and I'm looking forward to a bit of relax time in the infinity pool!

Hopefully the hotel has got wifi so I can try and catch up with you all, but if not, have a great weekend and I'll blip from the Ardeche tomorrow.

I was very late blipping yesterday so if you haven't already seen it and want to look, you can see it here.
