El Mercat Central

I had to clean the flat and stock up on food and drink this morning in readiness for my visitors arriving this evening.
I also had some flat related matters to deal with and more reading material to buy (the English Bookshop has an excellent supply of second hand books).
Today was the tenth anniversary of my mum’s death, so I went to a lunchtime sung mass at this beautiful church. The singing was wonderful, cheeky looking choirboys who sang like angels!
I then went on a tour around the Carmen district and our old stomping ground, the Mercat area, with its emblematic art deco market.
Home for a rest in the afternoon. I’m meeting my friends at the station this evening, so thought it best to blip first, in case we end up going out for drinks!
