Deanston Mill Lade

A relaxing day with a companionable dog. Our first walk this morning was across the fields towards the river, the lade makes it impossible to reach the riverbank but had a good viewing spot for potential ospreys.

I had a further exploration of the steep slope covered in gorse and discovered a number active badger setts. I will return one evening when it’s dry without Islay.
