Rannerdale

We drove to Buttermere and after parking in the overflow carpark we walked via the end of Crummock water to the Rannerdale valley where the bluebells were splendid

Its a strange thing but bluebells always look more spectacular to the eye than in photographs.

We then walked up the valley and down to Buttermere
