Colourful Character

We had a very relaxing Bank Holiday Monday: a swim this morning (the pool is heated, to reassure those of you who doubted my sanity!) followed by a walk with Chris on Avalon Marshes and fish finger sandwiches for lunch at the cafe afterwards.

This handsome pheasant was tidying up under the bird feeders at one of the hides.
