We gathered at a nearby village to watch the Independence Day parade. Well that was the idea - we arrived just as it ended, the big red shiny firetrucks passing us by. So we followed the procession to where it reconvened on the village green for the reading of the Declaration. It's been a hot day, we were pleased to gather under the trees.
This handsome fella was dressed for the occasion.
