that's just the way it is

When asked why she had left her shoes out on the deck Em replied "that's just the way it is" - my retort to the constant "......why?" questions backfiring on me.

After 3 days of carting the camera with me everywhere (as well as a 2 year old who periodically doesn't want to walk, balance bike and baby bag stuffed full of sun block, insect repellant, water) and not seeing anything photo-worthy, I left the camera at home today. Wouldn't you know it, at least 3 opportunities presented themselves.....no camera (arghh)
